Mercy Corps, an International Humanitarian Organisation is looking for candidates to fill in the positions under the humanitarian aid response in Gombe State. We are looking for motivated candidate, members of targeted community ready and willing to work in dynamic team.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Gombe
Job Responsibilities
- The driver will provide safe, transport services for MC program and support staff in the described AOR (Area of Responsibility).
- The driver will adhere to all traffic and MC safety rules and follow the transport guidelines required by the MC transport department. Driver is an integral part of Mercy Corps team.
Requirements
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of proved experience as a driver, preferably with 4x4 vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work comfortably with ethnically diversified team members
- Good oral and written English skills is required
- Fluency in local languages is a must
- Basic mechanical skills are desirable

- All positions require high motivation, positive attitude, willingness to work with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic team. Successful candidates should have cheerful personality, be able to work after hours, if need.
