Job Title: CAT Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Knowledge
- Should have knowledge of maintenance & repairs works of Heavy Equipment.
- Should be capable of servicing /overhauling CAT engines, transmission, hydraulic, etc .
- Should have the ability to detect the fault in the engines / transmission / Hydraulic system & rectify the same.
- Having knowledge of auto-electrical works is added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles, including repair and maintaining power plants, power-trains, and all related accessory systems involved with the unit. Must have experience with, hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose, repair and maintain the CAT equipment by using CAT “SIS” & “ET” systems.
- Manufacture and weld various equipment parts and components including, but not limited to, mechanical components for equipment and other specialized parts not readily available for purchase.
- Repair steering, hydraulic, brake and hydrostatic systems.
- Mount and balance tyres on vehicles and equipment including fixing tyres and performs other minor repair on equipment as a normal part of equipment maintenance.
- Maintain records of repairs, parts orders, and related information and documentation using word processing and spreadsheet computer programs.
- To handle the various CAT equipment maintenance with team of junior technicians.
Basic Qualifications
- ITI in Diesel Mechanic / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical
- High school diploma or general education degree
Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years in Heavy earth moving equipment (CAT, Komatsu) maintenance & repairs.
Age Limit: 30 - 40 Years.
