Public Speaking Tutor at IDMANN Institute

IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively. We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors. Our IDMANN classes offer students the experience of a world-class online learning environment but from the comfort of their own home or respective workplace, and at a convenient time.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Public Speaking Tutor

Location: Umuahia, Abia

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Ed. in Mass Communication or any related field.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated passion for imparting humanity by helping people develop their public speaking/leadership capacities and skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills and capabilities.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent inter-relationship skills across a wide variety of personality types, occupation and geographies.
• Previous experience training, coaching or public speaking is required.
• Must be growth minded, highly motivated and continuously striving for personal and professional improvement.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize the outreach effort in target area.
• Ability to craft and deliver standardised training programmes which are progressive and reflective of the needs of learners, using IDMANN’s public speaking methodology.
• Ability to understand curriculum and develop lesson plans and teaching methods that will help students cover required contents.
• Prior experience in an educational establishment would be considered as a plus.
• Prior experience teaching online or familiarity with an online teaching engagement is critical in this position.
