Job Title: Senior Analyst - Payments

Job Description
- Reporting to the Team Lead, Payments this role is primarily responsible for supporting the establishment of payments policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems and ensuring compliance with payment controls.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the development of payment controls to govern payment processes.
- Provide support for the preparation of all payment vouchers as per procedures
- Batch payment vouchers together for processing into accounting system.
- Support the Team Lead to process all payment batches into accounting system as per procedures.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other Social Science discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years work experience of which at least 2 years should have been in similar function.
- Professional accounting certification is mandatory.
Key Competency Requirements:
- Good financial and accounting knowledge, including in depth understanding of public sector international and Nigerian accounting standards.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis.
