Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring all income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed.
- Plan, prepare, and ensure delivery of all statutory reports, publications, internal and external audits, and the Annual Report and Accounts.
- Support in treasury management and timely payments to vendors and departmental needs.

- Control access to and ensure the security of the financial suite, and maintain accounting structures to ensure they meet directorate and corporate needs.
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts, statutory accounts and complying with local, state and federal tax regulations.
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy and reconciling financial discrepancies by analyzing accounts.
- Providing financial information to management by compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans and financial statements (including monthly and annual reports).
- Maintaining accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring that financial records comply with these policies and accounting principles.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance / Accounting or a related field
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position
- Relevant certification will be added advantage.
