Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client, an extra-ministerial department set-up to oversee the management of pensions for pensioners not transiting to the Defined Contributory Scheme has recently received the mandate to carry out its functions as stipulated by the Pension Reform Act (PRA) 2004.

The Organisation now seeks to recruit self driven, experienced and motivated individuals to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Analyst - Human Resource Management

Job Description
  • This role is primarily responsible for providing support in the execution of the Human Resource (HR) strategy and operations. The Job Holder would report to the Team Lead Human Resource Management.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in updating the Organisation's manpower requirements and translate this into a sourcing and recruitment plan.
  • Conduct training needs assessment as well as develop, organize and roll out training interventions.
  • Maintain and update a database of training programs available in the Organisation.
  • Articulate job descriptions for the positions being requested.
  • Identify and address employee issues.
  • Ensure that the administration of compensation for the Organisation is in compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a social science course or any other related discipline.
  • Relevant professional qualifications/certifications (CIPM, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • 3 years relevant work experience.
Key Competency Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labor and employment legislation.
  • Good appreciation of training design and delivery.
  • Good networking and interpersonal skills.
