Job Title: HR / Operations Officer

Location: Garki 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking to recruit a Human Resource/Operations Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the company needs.
  • The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units.
  • He/She must have previous experience in HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications for positions as required.
  • Responsible for resourcing candidates for job positions.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Carry out background checks on prospective employees such as guarantor confirmation, academic certificate and residence confirmation, as required.
  • Use the mediums of the company phone to Telephone/SMS and send emails to relevant contacts as required.
  • Ensures that the company’s equipment in his/her care and in the office is in usable condition at all times.
  • Responds and answers all inquiries from the public via telephone, email and direct/physically in his/her care about the company; including:
    • Services provided,
    • Service charge rates,
    • Conditions for service and
    • Business hours.
  • Records information about contacts/enquiries to the business in relevant record books and data files.
  • Help in purchasing supplies, equipment/other goods.
  • Prepares reports for management on a regular basis (weekly) and recommends procedures to improve productivity.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources and operations
  • Candidate must be IT inclined, proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and work cross-functionally
  • Comfort working with multiple groups within the business
  • Candidates must be residents of Abuja.
