Job Description
- This role is responsible for partnering with Agency to align company information technology with strategic direction and build IT organization, processes and procedures to support Agency's needs.
- The Job Holder would report to the Executive Secretary and has oversight of the IT team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recommend and plan information technology to support and meet company objectives based on research and evaluation.
- Direct implementation and execution of information systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
- Evaluate and implement IT procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
- Ensure provision of professional, courteous, and timely support and service.
- Structure, lead, train, and develop IT staff for maximum effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Develop and maintain company Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Develop/select and conduct user training on an as-needed basis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,, Information Technology or related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications or qualifications (ITIL, PRINCE 2, PMP, OCP, OCM) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 18 years work experience of which at least 3 years should have been in a management position.
Key Competency Requirements:
- Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of IT systems and experience in the administration and management of IT resources.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership/supervisory, coaching and mentoring and people management skills.
- Structure, lead, train, and develop IT staff for maximum effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Develop and maintain company Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Develop/select and conduct user training on an as-needed basis.
