Job Title: JCB Backhoe Operator
Location: Suleja, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Duties
- Moving levers, pushing pedals, or turning valves to control equipment.
- Cleaning up and maintaining backhoes and other equipment, as well as making basic repair as necessary.
- Reporting malfunctioning equipment or components with defects to supervisors.
- Record and maintain accurate, timely log data of equipment and closely follow their performance.
- Following site grading and operations plans.
- Carry out planned inspection and safety tours to identify unsafe conditions and practices, classifies equipment form hazard point of view.
- Perform other related duties such as, greasing, lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening loose connection, changing filters.
- Carrying out landfill operations tasks as assigned by supervisors and/or general manager
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Engineering Degree.
- At least 2 years hands on work experience in similar Industry.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
