TeamAce Limited - Our client, an Engineering Company in the Manufacturing Industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift In-charge Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties

• Operate the plant safely and efficiently during his shift and Independently handle the power plant control room operation
• Supervise, control and co-ordinate plant operations activities to ensure timely and effective plant production in accordance with established schedules, quality, cost, and time objectives
• Manage technical and safety incidents at site in accordance with site procedures
• Comply with all EHS policies & Quality Assurance procedures as developed and implemented at site in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Control processes and electrical distribution through DCS and other devices
• Be responsible to carry out the required isolation/de-Isolation in the process.
• Carry out planned inspection and safety tours to identify unsafe conditions and practices, classifies equipment form hazard point of view.
• Ensure hazardous waste in the plant areas are secured safely in line with the plant safety policy
• Maintain a record of all such correspondence with Gas Seller and Power Purchaser as required under O&M agreement, PPA and GSA

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree.
• At least 4 years hands on work experience in similar Industry
• Good foundation and practical knowledge of power plant operations,
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
