Job Title: Shift Manager - Power Distribution

The Job
Effectively leads operations of the systems used to deliver electricity from power plants to all load centers within the distribution network to ensure constant availability of power to the plant.
The Person
- Posses communication and problem-solving abilities, involving the ability to work cross- functionally to understand power requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.
- Knowledge of IEEE, IET, NEC, NERC and other applicable standards,
- Good knowledge of medium voltage switchgear operations concepts and power system protection.
- Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays
- Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team oriented, adaptable and dependable
Qualification / Experience
- B.Eng./B.Sc. / HND Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience
