The Job
- Implement and maintain appropriate, standard engineering consumable stores practice.
- Catalogue all new engineering consumables in agreement with Head of Maintenance and Group Cataloguer.
- Generate standardized templates used to guide New Data Entry. Create structured and standardized practical short descriptions.
- Create clear, concise and complete purchasing descriptions to uniquely describe each item
- Generate maintenance schedules in agreement with the Head of Maintenance.
- Forecast spares requirements and keep the supply Line always in line with possible demand fo spares.
The person
- Clear understanding of engineering consumables supply line
- Very strong Electrical/Mechanical/Automation Engineering background
- Clear understanding of engineering stores operation and Engineering maintenance operations
- Very Good communication skills, oral and written skills
Qualification/Experience
- First Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Added advantage: Experience in the field of plant maintenance
- 2 years field maintenance work or related post
