Job Title: Head of Laboratory

Location: Abuja

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• At least 20 years working experience
• At least 7-10 years experience at a managerial capacity at a Medical Laboratory
• Current Practicing License from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
• Additional training and experience in laboratory quality management systems
• Advanced knowledge of medical laboratory protocols.
• Able to work efficiently under time constraints
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g. ISO)
• Experience of working with a cross- cultural range of staff and developing training plans and strategies to meet their unique capacity development needs.
• Aptitude for problem solving
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
• Candidates must be highly motivated team players willing to go the extra mile;
• Must possess excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills.
• Computer knowledge is a MUST.
