Job Description

• Attract and retain target clients for container transportation.
• Conduct weekly research and market intelligence to remain abreast of market trends
• Identify top talents to join team within area of operations.
• Innovate on new products and service for clients.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have:

• A First Degree in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, Business or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as business development manager in container transportation.
• Have an existing network of contacts with critical stakeholders within port of operation.
• Have an existing portfolio of clients for container transportation.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and under pressure
• Proactive with great attention to details
• Good computer knowledge (tech savvy), mail etiquette and demonstrable knowledge of MS-Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skill.
