We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Oversee Operations of service unit and its Subsidiaries
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the Group managing Director in all matters of importance
  • Assist the group managing director in fundraising ventures
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices for the group
  • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses.
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
  • Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
  • Designing and implementing business operations
  • Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Overseeing operations of the Organization and the work of executives (subsidiary)

Job Specification or Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Business Administration or relevant field; M.Sc / MBA is a plus
  • Proven experience of 7-10 years as a Chief Operating Officeor relevant role
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Investment banking background is a plus.
