OTEZU Farms is a subsidiary of OTEZU Company Limited. It was establishedin 2021 with sole focus in maize production with a mini processing factory under development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Operations Manager

Location: Obot Ayanmmong and Akpabuyo - LGA Cross River

Job Description

• The position is suited for a practical person to manage and oversee the entirety of the farm operations including crop performance and yield management.
• The successful candidate must be able to manage daily challenges and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform long and short-term project management
• Manage, supervise, and train workers
• Good maintenance culture
• Plan and organise various farm activities timely in line with the farm calendar
• Understand and achieve production targets
• Ability to manage budget and generate returns on investment
• Source workers and contractors as required by operation.
• Oversee the production factory
• Prepare daily operations plan for approval
• Submit daily operations report
• Update farm record, expense report in line with company’s policy

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Agriculture related disciplines. Years of experience in farm operations can compensate for tertiary qualification in agriculture.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in farm operations management. For the trainee position years of experience can be waivered.
• Good command of English (written and verbal)
• Good communication skills
• Good mathematical skills
• Honest and diligent
• Good computer skills
• Motivated individual
• Good team player
