Job Description
- Under broad direction, provides input on technical direction of software application for both short term (<1 year) and mid-term (<2 years) projects.
- Works closely with Product management and the architect to design, research, and develop new applications and major enhancements.
- Provides technical guidance to developers, testers, and support staff in product planning.
- May be the gatekeeper for areas of tine architecture and/or application and may communicate and educate others about the technology.
- Experience in leading software development projects and will provide Technical Excellence Leadership.
- Mentors junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 7 years of related experience or through 7 years of software development experience.
Qualification/Skills Required:
- Applicants MUST have a minimum of HND/B.Eng in Engineering/science or any related field/discipline.
- Candidates are expected to have a Practical knowledge in design and in the field applied for.
- International experience in oil and gas deep water operations is an added advantage.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in mining operations, and management experience.
