Job Title: Experienced Account / Book-keeping Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 08:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m, Monday – Saturday.

Job Description

  • Our client is urgently in need of an Account / Book-Keeping Officer who will provide financial support to the company by managing daily accounting tasks and other account reconciliation-related issues.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities

  • Controlling the payroll and reconciling bank statements.
  • Preparing accurate month-end accounts with comparison to forecast.
  • Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for the Organization.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and business planning.
  • Process cash disbursement and cash receipts.
  • Perform month-end close reconciliation and financial analysis.
  • Review all daily cash balance
  • Prepare a monthly bank reconciliation for all company account.
  • Review vendor invoices and monthly statements to ensure all expenses are processed on Software.
  • Assist in reconciliation of account.
  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices.
  • Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations.
  • Must be able to maintain Working order and transparency for the company’s finances.
  • Keeping petty cash records and issuing purchase receipts.
  • Preparation of estimates and job cards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting with experience as a full-time bookkeeper.
  • Must be Male
  • Must be able to maintain office confidentiality and trust.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge about MS office, excel, and accounting software.
  • Resourcefulness
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skills, and time management.
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management and vendors.
  • Candidate must reside within Surulere axis and its environ
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strictly for candidates within Ojuelegba Surulere and its environs.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 montlhy.
