Job Title: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Oversees the implementation of company strategies that are created by the executive Management team and has the responsibility of delivering results on a day to day and monthly to month basis.
- Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organization vision, operational strategy and hiring needs
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Adherence to company,federal,state and local business requirements ,enforcing compliance and taking actions where necessary.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners / vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- B.Sc / BA in Business Administration or relevant field; M.Sc / MBA and professional membership is an added advantage.
- 10 years experience working in the financial sector/ 5 must be in senior management role.
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
- Understanding of business functions such as Credit Risk Management , Financial services , sales/ marketing etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in fundraising and wealth management will be a plus
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
Salary
N700,000 - N850,000 Monthly.
