The Carpenter's Lounge is a subsidiary of Aristocrat Clothing. We are a quick-service restaurant with a goal of satisfying customers with good food. We are located in Ogba, Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Role

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
• Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
• Occasionally serve food
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
• 1 year of work experience.
• Proven experience as a cook
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
