Product Manager, Devices at a Leading Telecommunication Company

We are one of Nigeria's leading Telecommunication companies with extensive operations within and outside the Country. To support our rapidly expanding network and long-term growth plans, we have vacancy for highly experienced, result-oriented and motivated professionals in the position below:

Job Title: Product Manager, Devices

Responsibilities

• Drive, Data Smartphone business with incremental customers aquisition.
• Lead the creation and implementation of device strategy and ensure aligment across all device portfolio which includes Smartpgones, MIFIs and Routers.
• Build strategic partnership with leading handset companies and with leading E-commerce players Drive MIFI and Router sales with appropriate pricing and bundle plan.
• Manage device proposition / pricing competitiveness in the market
• Keep abreast of current & future OEM product roadmaps as well as technology and platform trends
• Provide the right communication devices and briefing to agencies to ensure that we remain the preferred device buying outlet in the country.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Second Class Lower)  or equivalent in Numeric discipline from a reputable University. an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of Seven (7) years experience in Telco Devices Management
• Currently leading / responsible for Devices team in a reputable Telco
• Strong understand of Manufacturer Elements - OEMs, OS features, pre-loading
• Strong understand of Martket Elements - Market construct, key distributor, agent etc.
• Strong understand of pricing Elements - wholesale / resale pricing reverse bundle, device finance etc.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
