We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Tailor
Location: Oniru, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Will be professionally presented, observe client etiquette and have effective communication skills
- Will have a thorough understanding of the tailoring process and possess the necessary technical knowledge and skills as a garment maker.
- Will be familiar with taking measurements in order to draw / cut / draft patterns for specific women’s garments, including gowns, jackets, vests, trousers (short / long), shirts (short / long), etc.
- Will be familiar with the latest design specifications for women’s garments
- Will be able to provide clear instructions to the production team by utilizing French chalk to trace patterns on fabric and mark garments for future cutting, sewing and other forms of alterations
- Will be fluent with making amendments/adjustments to trial and/or finished garments to perfect the garment’s fit during the trial and/or fitting stages
- Will be able to finish a garment, if it requires minor alterations, amendments or adjustments
- Will be familiar with pressing tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 3 - 31 years work experience.
Salary
N30,000 - N50,000 Monthly.
