Job Title: Network Operation Lead

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Descriptions

• In charge of planning, directing, maintaining, and coordinating network installation, maintenance, and operations.
• Oversee the operation data centers for their companies through leading, and mentoring teams of Network Engineers.
• Plan, direct, maintain, and coordinate network installation, maintenance, and operations.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot network problems
• Select hardware, software, and vendors according to organizational needs and budgets.
• Create troubleshooting and maintenance protocols

KPI

• Leadership and team management
• Overall behavior objective
• Visibility [user experience, time to resolution].
• Predictability [target hours per operation, changes per month, average time to task]

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Programming or any relevant course.
• Must be good with relevant IT tools.
• Experience in Telecommunication industry/company will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least 5 years working experience as a Network Operation Lead.
• Thorough understanding of wireless networking and general IT functions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and collaborative skills
• Knowledge and experience of system and network infrastructures such as LAN and WAN network
• technologies, server virtualization, enterprise storage area network (SAN) and backup, enterprise
• performance and fault monitoring tools.
• Extensive knowledge of network applications and protocols
• Keen attention to detail
• Thorough skills in interpretation and management of software licensing documents, related
• budgets, systems usage, and asset tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexible and a proactive team player.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows systems, networking, and data base fundamentals.
