Job Description

• Play Porch wants to hire a Chef to lead an extraordinary team of dedicated employees at Eket site.
• Play Porch has a restaurant and a bakery that is being developed into world-class.
• Our talented Chef/Restaurant Supervisor will provide culinary services and exceptional customer experiences, translate company strategies into operational objectives and devise schemes to achieve them.
• Plans and organises kitchen activities and restaurant operations; and supervise and provide guidance to employees.

Ideal Candidate

• Applicants possess a minimum of Diploma in Culinary Science or related Certificate, after an Apprenticeship.
• Credentials in health and safety training.
• Experience as a chef in a restaurant is essential.
• Our candidate must be passionate about food and cooking.
• S/he genuinely enjoys the whole process of procuring, preparing, cooking, and serving food and must be able to design menus too. Stamina is an essential quality of Play Porch Chef.
• A good understanding of product costing and some experience in supervision of quick-service restaurant operations.
• Has used Open Table or Peach Works in the running of a restaurant.
