We are recruiting to fill the position of below:

Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Lagos
Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Summary

  • An organized and detail-oriented individual to manage all of the operations in our storeroom.
  • In this position, you'll play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, issuing and managing inventory. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the team for effective management of store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance and transfer of items as per company policy
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Manage and maintain adequate supplies of tools and materials to meet operational requirements
  • Receive tools, materials and equipment, ensuring that these are correct in terms of number and specification and also timely in accordance with the operational needs.
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals from the store
  • Create item specific forecasts over a lead-time to be used for effective and efficient inventory management
  • Participate in physical inventories by counting stocks
  • Sourcing of new suppliers and sampling, testing and getting approval for new development.

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a storeroom or warehouse environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in data entry, analysis, and inventory management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
  • Years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kg or more occasionally       
  • Previous experience in a furniture manufacturing firm.
  • Customer-centric thinking and behaviors, care and empathy for people. 
  • Proven record of consistently meeting agreed goals and targets.
  • Ability to share knowledge, learn and collaborate with other team members.
