Job Title: Delivery Rider
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are looking for individuals that are passionate and well experienced in dispatch duties and bike riding to join our partner company to provide delivery services in a safe, efficient and courteous manner to our customers in and around the city of Lagos.
Job Roles
- Collecting, transporting and safely delivering a range of items to designated locations ensuring all orders are delivered on time, in the right condition and to the right place.
- Determine the best routes taking into consideration to divert traffic congestion.
- Check orders after delivery to ensure all orders have been accurately completed.
- Ensure the delivery bike is maintained in a clean and safe operating condition.
- Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations, and adhere to company operating policies and procedures, and comply with relevant safety standards.
- Complete competency training to be provided by the company in line with the business requirements.
Experience and Education
- Minimum of High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in dispatch duties or bike riding.
- Must have a valid Rider’s Licence.
- Must have a Smartphone.
Skills and Competencies:
- Customer-focused.
- Energetic with a strong sense of urgency.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of road networks in and around the city of Lagos.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
