Job Title: Facility and Logistics Officer (Customer Order Delivery)

Job Summary

  • The Facility Officer will manage the facility, logistics, vendor and fleet needs of HAUSBA.
  • The individual will ensure that the operations under their purview function at a performance level that is optimally cost-effective, maximizes value and quality to the business, without comprising environment, health, safety, and life cycle of the assets.

Responsibilities

  • Development of detailed preventative and corrective maintenance strategies, work plans and work packages such that the effectiveness of all maintenance resources, including budget and personnel, is maximized.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are planned with enough detail in order to be performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner while complying to the business’ operational strategy and regulatory changes, best practices, industry standards, applicable codes, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and assist with energy management
  • Maintain stock levels and parts within budget
  • Review the company’s list of approved vendors to the company on a quarterly basis
  • Liaise with internal departments (warehouse and prourement/order fulfillment) regarding the delivery of products to customers.
  • Ensure that delivery vehicle is loaded, and where required and do regular checks to make sure it’s road worthy
  • Present a friendly and approachable attitude to our customers and do whatever it takes to make their shopping experience the best it can be.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • OND, HND, or B.Sc / BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
  • A valid Nigerian driver’s license with at least 8 years of driving experience with no history of reckless driving violations 
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service
  • Able to adapt to working in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Calm under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable and reliable
  • Prior work experience in using an ERP system 
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
