Job Title: Generator Supervisor
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Responsible for daily direction and supervision of the Generator Service department and Service Technicians.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the daily operations of the generator service department.
- Experience with Installation, Servicing and repairs of CUMMINS and MANTRAC Power generators.
- Manage the distribution of Generator Technician workloads
- Direct the activities of Generator and Marine.
- Manage costs to achieve margin
- Ensure the appropriate manpower and supplies are available to complete work
- Review in progress and completed jobs to verify the scope of work completed appropriately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist Operation Manager in responding to and handling customers' service
- Establish work standards for Generator and Technicians
- May handle issues related to warranty work requests.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training of new technicians
- Assist Operation Manager with evaluating Technician overall performance including productivity and efficiency metrics.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or OND and 3 years related experience
- Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise
- Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken
- Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company
- Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job
Other Requirements:
- Prior supervisory experience in servicing, repairs, installation , and procurement of Generators.
