Gender Equality, Peace and Development Centre (GEPaDC) is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-religious and Women-led organization with the vision of “a society where women and men, girls and boys realize their full potential and participate in every sphere on an equal basis and where the rights of everyone irrespective of sex are recognized and respected” and the mission of “Promoting gender equality, peace and sustainable development and empowering women & girls”.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consultant (Development of Modules for Training Women Organizations and Associations of Women Living with Disabilities)

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Development of training modules and capacity to train women associations and Association of Women Living with Disabilities (AWLD).
• Conduct Organizational Development and Provide Mentorship
• Good understanding of Human Rights/Women’s rights and ability to translate for local consumption.
• Women’s Leadership Development, Women and Peacebuilding process
• Team building and bonding
• Advocacy, Community Engagement, and communication
• Group Facilitation Skills
• Good report writing skill
• Ability to perform monitoring and supportive supervision to groups/associations.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / MSc qualification
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
