The International Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship College (IVTEC) is an accredited institution by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) with a vision to promote inclusive human capital development within the context of evolving national needs and global competitiveness. IVTEC is a pioneering technical and vocational education model established by the Kwara State Government. The College was commissioned by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo on 21st November, 2017 and commenced training programmes on 30th April, 2018 in sixteen technical specializations offered in nine departments.

Job Title: Chief Network Engineer
Location: Ajase-Ipo, Kwara
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of network to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Network design, implementation, management, maintenance and upgrading
- Managing the corporate systems databases
- Ensuring effective systems backups that will allow for restoring and recovery of these systems
- Acquiring corporate hardware and software
- Providing the IT technology infrastructures for the institution
- Contributing to institutional policy with regard to quality standards, security standards, and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants should be holders of a good Honors Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution of higher learning plus at least 12 years of cognate experience, or holders of Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering plus at least 9 years of cognate experience.
- In addition, applicants must provide evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies.
