Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Description

• Our company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of a Company Driver in our surulere Office.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely drive the employees to and from marketing and other required occasions.
• Timely delivery of goods to our customers when assigned.
• Cross-check items loaded on truck against delivery waybill.
• Brilliantly answer client’s inquiries or refer such inquiries to the appropriate office.
• Ensure vehicle is clean at all time by washing both inside and the outside.
• Carry out routine checks & ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times.
• Timely report all vehicle faults to the Office Manager.
• Ensures the vehicle papers are up to date and well maintained.
• Perform periodic basic maintenance on the vehicle.
• Keep up a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours.
• Must be able to consider different routes to decide the best time and route to take.
• Must be able and willing to load/offload products from the truck.
• Dress professionally and in accordance with the company’s dress code.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND certificate.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a driving test and background check.
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Ability to speak Yoruba and/or Igbo is an advantage.
• Experience and good knowledge of Lagos Roads and sufficient knowledge of traffic laws
• Must be a safety-conscious person, focused, confident and observant.
• Must reside around Surulere axis.
• Ability to drive a forklift is an advantage.
• Must be available to resume work immediately.
