Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating informative presentations to potential customers at meetings and conferences.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective customers information using Sales force, CRM, Excel, etc.
- Answering potential customers questions and follow-up call questions; responding to customers request for proposals (RFPs).
- Collaborating with sales team to secure, retain, and grow accounts
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
- Oversee product development.
- Pitch products
- Create and assess a business marketing strategy
- Promote products and services, represent the company at networking events and conferences, travel to events and meetings to meet with prospective and existing customers
- Conduct online research via social media platforms to discover leads and new target markets,
- Help plan and oversee marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Responsible for developing growth in the company through increased sales and customer acquisition.
Requirements and Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent
- Two (2) - five(5) years in related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close in a manufacturing/ production company is a plus
- Experience with lead generation and prospect management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
