We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Growth Associate

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full Time

The Role

  • In 2021 we expanded rapidly and identified some key levers for growth. Now we need to take advantage of this momentum, add people to the growth team, and ensure we continue to land the most exciting projects and clients in 2022 and beyond.
  • You would be the second hire into the growth team and work directly with the Head of Growth to ensure that we continue to thrive.
  • As a small and rapidly growing team, the role would be all-hands-on-deck initially. Core responsibilities would include research, campaign setup, reporting, and content publishing.
  • A typical day could include setting up a new email campaign, creating a management report on the performance of one of our marketing campaigns, and doing research into a potential client's business.
  • As our second-growth hire, you join Steer73 at an inflection point in our development. Not only will you learn first-hand how a successful agency generates business but, as a core part of the growth team, your career could follow a similar trajectory to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collating data and creating reports on our marketing performance
  • Researching potential clients
  • Setting up and running email marketing
  • Posting content and engaging with followers on social media
  • Publishing content to our website
  • Setting up and managing marketing campaigns across various platforms
  • Managing sales email inboxes
  • CRM management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in growth, marketing, or business development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong commercial awareness and interest in how businesses operate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience with marketing platforms and an ability to learn new ones quickly
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Experience using social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Experience publishing content with WordPress (desirable but not mandatory).
