Job Title: Experienced Corporate / Employee Trainer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description, Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • MPG employee trainer will be responsible for developing the skills and knowledge of an organization’s workforce, training courses, employment recruiting, business accounts job postings etc.
  • Teaching skills and knowledge within MPG and ensuring the organization is equipped with a workforce that can optimize its current and future goals and objectives and deliver quality products and services that can meet consumers’ requirements or needs.
  • Must be able to help to build employee satisfaction, which makes it easier for an organization to attract and retain a quality workforce.
  • Assisting other employees in the process of developing their performance in the organization, and also taking part in organizational change programs.
  • Developing new skills in employees, managing the learning function, maximizing employee retention, and assessing or measuring the results of training programs.
  • An employee trainer is also responsible for conducting thorough training needs analysis before undertaking a training assignment, to determine what needs to be learned by the employees or team, and how to prioritize the learning.
  • Creative and innovative thinking, which enables the employee trainer to keep things fresh to hold trainees’ attention, and also improvise on their teaching style.
  • Conducting classroom, virtual, and field training to internal and external partners, developing training materials in order to meet specific needs, training account executives on the processes that are involved in selling, monitoring new hires, and several other tasks as required by the management.

Requirements / Skills

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 - 8 years of work experience.
  • A deep and thorough understanding of the supply chain management process, in other, maximize the organization’s resources and build an efficient and productive workforce.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to understand problems convey ideas and conduct training, and all of these are carried out through words.
  • Excellent presentation skills to present and handle training programs effectively

  • Overseeing and monitoring training costs against budgets

  • Communicating the correct information and handling any questions from trainees
  • Laying good examples by demonstrating the skills that are being taught
  • Critically examining the trainees’ understanding and progress and making necessary adjustments to the program
  • Scheduling training sessions to minimize disruption to normal working.
  • Certification from an accreditation body will be an added advantage.
  • Regardless of educational background, several years of proven work experience in a related position is required.

Salary

  • N400,000 - N600,000 monthly.
