Job Title: Show Host / Corporate Communications Lead

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description / Responsibilities

• We are looking for experienced and creative Media Hosts and Corporate Communications Leads (Male and Female) to serve as presenters and hosts for all Afrihood media programmes such as reality shows, vox pop, video skits, documentaries, product demonstration, event coverage and representation.
• The candidates would be the face of Afrihood in every public appearance – events or meetings, whether live or recorded.
• They will also be in charge of developing and implementing communications plans for Afrihood.
• The candidates should possess the necessary expertise in developing good course content and training materials for the company.
• They must be good training facilitators as they would be in charge of organizing training for Afrihood’s companies, and enhancing staff’s communication skills as well as providing feedback and guidance.
• They will keep media programmes running to schedule, responding positively and quickly to problems or changes and improvising where necessary.
• They will develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies and monitor their success.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any relevant course.
• The candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Showbiz Presenter, Communications Strategist, Broadcast Journalist, or Public Relations Manager.
• Both candidates must be technologically savvy and have sound judgment to drive communications initiatives, with excellent skills in networking, and relationship-building.
• Candidates must be able to propel Afrihood's image through consistent messaging and strategy as well as develop internal and external communications and marketing strategies.
• Both candidates must be good looking but rugged as they would be outdoor most of the time.
• Candidates have to be highly resourceful, creative and able to curate stories around global affairs and trends that our target audience can identify with.
• They must be able to swiftly navigate between being corporate-smart and being street-smart.
• Both candidates should possess exceptional oratory skills.
• They must be good and charismatic training facilitators.
