We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Upholsterer

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Upholstery Supervisor, Production Manager

Key Summary of the Job

• Make furniture pieces such as Sofas, headboards, ottomans, etc as per given specifications.

Core Working Relationships

• Technical Team
• Production Team
• Store and Inventory Team
• Logistics/Procurement Team.

Task Complexities

• Take measurements and accurately cut materials required for furniture upholstery.
• Use webbing stretchers to extend webbings and fabrics to be used as covers.
• Manually sew upholstery or operate sewing machines to seam cushions and join various ends of fabric.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
• 5 - 7 years previous experience as an Upholsterer (sewing or tacking) at a furniture manufacturing company.
