Job Description

  • Our ideal Plant Maintenance Officer (PMO) for our client will provide technical oversight for the efficient operation and maintenance of the plant assets located in all propertiessuch as Generators, Water Treatment Plants, Water Pumps, Waste Treatment Plant, Fire Hydrants, PABX systems, etc.
  • He will give technical support and assist the Facility Managers and Building Maintenance Managers in carrying out their responsibilities to the residents of their estates.
  • The successful running of the Company managed estates and properties may be determined through the input/output of the Plant Maintenance officer in certain areas.
  • Implement company Risk Management, Occupational Health, and Safety policies and procedures in relation to any plant operations, works, or other activities within the scope of responsibility.
  • Provide relevant input to the development of facilities management systems, policies, and procedures undertaken by the Facilities Management Unit.
  • Obtain appropriate quotations for plant maintenance works and provide budget estimates for various projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare quarterly plant performance/maintenance reports covering all estates.
  • Prepare and Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plants and ensure that they constantly remain in good operational condition while downtimes are kept to the barest minimum.
  • Undertake annual and other mandatory inspections and audits of all plant assets of the Company Estates/Properties as part of preventive maintenance and develop work schedules, technical specifications, and costs for repair and maintenance by external service providers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND in Electrical Electronics or Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering with strong electrical, mechanical, and technical background in a Facility Management or Real Estate settings.
  • 5 – 8+ years of cognate experience in a similar role.
