We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos,
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • This role is focused on our Driver sourcing and placements portfolio.
  • The candidate will be focused on acquiring new business for Driver deployment to new clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of Key Business Accounts / Sales:
    • Researching organizations and individuals to identify new business opportunities.
    • Developing quotes, proposals and presentations
    • Explain to clients & prospects about the advantages of our services / solutions,
    • Develop business & Marketing plan to achieve the revenue goal.
    • Lead all advertising and marketing efforts, working with our digital agency
    • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
    • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
  • Successful management of Key Business Accounts:
    • Manage relationships with clients (corporates and individuals), and be the first point of call for issues escalation, and should be able to resolve issues proactively and efficiently.
  • Business Development:
    • Focus on long term value relationship
    • Bring in revenue through fresh initiatives by way of innovative marketing ideas and skills
    • Generate Marketing Report periodically
  • Work with HR in deploying Drivers to clients who need it. Work with finance and HR team to ensure service excellence.
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years post NYSC experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Business Development. Proven results in similar role
  • Marketing penetration /lead generation skills
  • Resilient, rugged, goal getter.
  • Negotiation/persuasion/presentation skill.
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
