Job Title: Maintenance Controllers (Brewing & Utilities)

Summary

To coordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability

Duties and Responsibilities

Amongst other duties, the Maintenance Controllers will respectively:
  • Provide technical expertise
  • Optimize production processes
  • Optimize plant and equipment availability
  • Manage/optimize computerized maintenance management system
  • Mentor and coach the shift teams
  • Optimize maintenance reliability, availability and costs

Qualifications and Skills Required
The occupant of this position should possess:
  • Minimum of BSc degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial engineering)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field at a leadership position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage
Key Competencies and Attributes
  • Knowledge of WCM/MEP strategies and initiatives
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Good communicator, with effective team-related skills
