Description

• The Switch Engineering position will focus on routing, switching, and networking functions.
• The position will provide advanced technical support and implementation of communications products and services.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated hardware and software such as switches, SBCs, voice SIP Trunks, routers, media gateways, VOIP hardware, telephony cabling, call management systems, and contact center solutions.
• Providing professional and timely support for a wide range of IT equipment, software, and server room systems and network devices.
• Work with internal teams and vendors as necessary on service requests and problem resolution.
• Support the development of software algorithms related to guidance and navigation.

Requirements

• First Degree / HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience preferably in Telecom environment.
• Ability to analyze, summarize and solve issues with VoIP and TDM services, SIP, SS7 and ISDN messaging.
• Understanding of HPBX and IP PBX platform
• The engineer will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of switch configurations and networking operational.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
