Job Title: Retail Development Executive / Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos (Area Office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Regional Business Manager
Purpose of Job
- Responsible for the efficient redistribution of company products within assigned or planned locations in an area office, thus drive retail sales in outlets.
Nature & Scope of Position
- The incumbent is based at the area office and reports to the Regional Business Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Target/ Territory Coverage & Redistribution Achievement:
- Effective Covering of assigned territory/retail outlet.
- Generate orders & advice on appointing new retailers.
- Achieve sales target as per plan.
- Breakdown of territory/outlet targets to customer’s.
- Provide sales services to appointed retailers by selling products within the territory/outlet.
- Effective redistribution of products in assigned territory.
- Executes approved redistribution activity at the area level.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor & provide feedback to boss /management with happenings in trade.
- Track and report competition performance, activity and campaigns.
- Spot & promptly report opportunities in market place.
Personal Effectiveness:
- Plan & execute weekly journey plan which will be agreed by the RBM.
- Prepare weekly, monthly reports and other relevant reports as required.
- Expenses incurred are collated at the end of every week to be approved by the RBM.
- Ensure PJP is authorized & adhered to.
Merchandizing/ Promotional Activities:
- Conduct in-bar and other consumer focused promotional events.
- Ensure products are well merchandized on shelf.
- Ensure sited placement of POS merchandising materials.
Reporting:
- Report on state of Billboards/out of Home {OOH} and POS deployment.
Qualifications & Experience
- HND / B.Sc degree in any discipline.
- 1 - 2 years (post NYSC experience in Sales).

- Good Microsoft Office Skills.
- Excellent Driving Skills (Particularly Pick up vans).

Principal Accountabilities:
- Effective redistribution of all the company’s product.
- Ensure high level of brand awareness, product penetration and up-to-date competition data/details in his assigned area.
- Effective spread/width of material deployment.
- Proper monitoring of Billboards and company’s assets in his custody.
