Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, resilient and driven Business Development Executive to identify business growth opportunities, develop and implement strategies to increase company sales to the aim that the Company achieves its revenue targets per time.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and retaining clients, developing an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s products and pricing and improving existing sales proposals.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong business acumen with a proven track record of success from prospecting of clients to closing business deals.
- Also, the individual should be exceptional at communication and negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
- Prospecting new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Analyze sales reports and provide strategies to reduce overhead and increase profit.
- Identify new market opportunities through market research and initiate contact.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of the Company.
- Identifying products that are underperforming and making recommendations for improvement in the products and services offered to clients.
- Developing business proposals and contracts to attract more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Analyzing customers feedback to determine their level of satisfaction with the company’s products and services and implementing change where necessary.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and analyzing competitors’ market and strategy.
Requirements
- First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar roles.
- 3-5 years experience in Sales or Business Development in the manufacturing/engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Experience in the aluminum manufacturing firm will be an added advantage.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Great networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and excellent eye for detail.
Salary
- N120,000 - N150,000 monthly net.
