We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Process Technologist

Location: Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supporting Process team meetings and co-ordinating resources to ensure accurate documentation of all development stages to maintain consistently high levels of product quality at all times.
• Planning and delivering production trials to monitor product performance in line with quality parameters as well as the latest safety legislation.
• The individual will prepare the necessary documents and reports that summarize tests, observations, processing concerns, manufacturing constraints, project progress, recommendations and decisions as finalized.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• Candidate must have prior experience developing project plans, producing a project budget and designing ways to process materials.
• Prior experience overseeing other staff, evaluating products and identifying ways to improve product.
• Ability to lead product quality improvement projects.
• Relocation is required for persons living outside Umuahia.
