Position Description
- Understand the bank’s current system architecture.
- Work with the business to design cutting edge custom-applications that will allow our meet business to stay ahead of the competition and achieve their strategic goals.
- Take the leading role in the design of new solutions and engender innovation within the team.
- Ensure the design of applications according to business specifications
Key responsibilities
- Recommend and design structures and tools for systems which meet business needs, delivering the technical visualization of proposed applications for approval by the business and execution by the development team.
- Assist in the preparation of technical plans and produce detailed component specifications, translating these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products.
- Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.

- Project Management Certification
- Demonstrable Programming skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems

- Ensure processes are in place for minimizing system/application downtime
- Set procedures for backing up applications and related data.
