About the Job

• RimoTechnology is seeking a Senior Frontend IOS (Swift) Developer to join our organisation as we grow and transform our Technology landscape.
• The candidate will complete advanced software end to end engineering tasks that span many parts of a system including designing, developing, analysing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system specifications.
• The candidate will also consult with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications, manage the effective use of resources, act as subject matter expert across multiple applications, systems and technologies, leverage technical and business knowledge to drive the planning and execution of complex initiatives, participate in the design/ development process, and provide technical leadership.

General Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in:

• Drive technical discovery sessions on new and/or collaborative projects
• Leading and managing development projects from inception to elaboration, development, testing, and implementation
• Responsible for overseeing the work of other team developers when called upon
• Work with vendors or existing development team
• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, business analysts and mobile developers to identify problems and creatively solve complex problems
• Stay current with mobile interaction guidelines and operating systems

Required Qualifications
Education:

• A completed bachelor’s degree in IT, or an Associate’s degree in Computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline is preferred.

Other Qualifications:

• Experienced in working with high-performing, highly technical teams
• Entrepreneurial drive and an interest to innovate
• Proven experience in the complete development lifecycle for native mobile iOS applications
• Ability to succinctly communicate verbally and in a variety of media
• Familiarity with Agile techniques in development environment (certifications are preferred, but a proven history is highly desired)
• Formal experience as a senior member of a development team
• Experience in Healthcare mobility solution design and delivery is a plus
• Experience with Apple’s HealthKit is a plus
• Relevant experience/knowledge working with hospitals and their integration needs
• Knowledge of three or more of these areas would be preferred:
  • Native iOS Development
  • Swift
  • Apple Interface Guidelines
  • JSON, REST-based APIs
• User testing
• Complex problem solving
• Agile development expertise
• Mentor junior developers
• Able to self-manage work load
• A superior knowledge of programming (i.e. program design, flowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc.)
• A superior knowledge of how to document program design, coding, and maintenance.
• A superior understanding of how critical project completion is to client satisfaction.
