Job Title: Programme Associate

Key Responsibilities
We seek a programme associate who can deliver or is willing to learn how to deliver on the following:

  • Research available local and international funding opportunities and draft proposals to potential partners and donors for fundraising purposes.
  • Identify opportunities to actively engage Members and Stakeholders and research relevant information to improve programmatic approach, coordinate the execution and support the implementation of programmes and activities.
  • Managing client relations to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns, events, and projects.
  • Executing client projects to allow for project extension/renewal and to secure new businesses from existing clients
  • Engaging relevant content partners, setting up meetings, and driving short and long-term goals
  • Serving as a spokesperson for official events and programs
  • Carry out research work through interviews, questionnaires, online, or whatever may be appropriate and oversee all data-related aspects of project execution (e.g., quality control assurance from fielding through report delivery).
  • Manage progress of survey research projects to ensure accomplishment of objectives – this includes communication to anticipate challenges related to survey design, fielding/data collection and project deliverables.
  • Develop/write overall study analytic plans and perform basic analysis of survey research results, including sub-group analysis for inclusion in reports.
  • Prepare and present analyses with findings and recommendations.
  • Any other tasks within the scope of the role as directed and agreed.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Social Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven working experience in project management support, research, and proposal development.
  • Hands on experience with digital content creation (knowledge of Canva will be an added advantage).

  • Good project management skills and ability to take ownership of programmes.
  • Ability to work independently remotely.
  • Must be flexible, reliable and tenacious in delivering tasks.
  • Possessing high ethical standards and ability to display professionalism at all times.
  • Highly proficient in current office software applications.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outgoing personality with passion and will to grow.
  • Excellent writing skills in English. Knowledge of French will be a distinct advantage.

Salary
N50,000 - N70,000 monthly.
