 Job Brief

• Our client is recruiting to hire an experienced dispatch rider to aid its courier services.

Key Responsibilities

• Ride company’s motorcycle to accomplish official duties.
• Keep customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions.
• Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery address.
• Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time
• Responsible for collecting monies for bought items upon delivery to the customer.
• Plan and follow most efficient routes for making deliveries.
• Ensure correct product are dispatched promptly using the motorcycle.
• Must ensure that assigned motorcycle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.
• Record information, such as items received and delivered.

Requirements

• A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider.
• Be able to work on weekdays and weekends.
• Familiarity with relevant routes.
• Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
• Ability to communicate, read and write.
• Polite and able to get along with people.
• Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
• Should be reliable and punctual.
