Lorache Consulting - Our Client a multinational (FMCG) company with presence and branches across Nigerian states urgently needs highly experienced sales professionals preferably presently working in a multinational FMCG company for the position of Area Sale Manager:
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Locations: Kaduna, Kano, Benin
Sales
- Achievement of sales target of Specific Brand / Category
- Ensuring that the Sales Reps are achieving their sales targets
- Monitoring & driving sales on a regular basis
- Motivating & driving sales team for target achievement
Market Expansion & Penetration
- Ensuring coverage of the entire market.
- Identification of the new dealers/ Wholesalers & introducing them to the Branch Manager
- Ensuring that the product is available & visible throughout his assigned territory.
- Good understanding of the market & competition
Collections
- Ensuring that the stocks are allocated based on the credit limit
- Ensuring collections are proportionate to the sales
- Identify & liaise with the distributors / customers for outstanding
- Reporting of the excess outstanding to the respective Branch Manager.
Inventory Management
- Identification of the expired products & reporting to the Branch Manager.
- Identifying dented, defected & damaged stock & reporting to the respective Branch Manager
- Ensuring that the stocks are kept & placed as per the norms.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Marketing or any Social Sciences.
- Possession of MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Business Development Sales and Marketing which must be in an FMCG company.
- Must have good knowledge of the market terrain.
- Must be proficient in the use of Ms Word and Excel.
- Must have a valid E-Class License
- Not more than 35 years of age.
