Job Description

• Our client is interested in hiring a highly detailed oriented individual as a Property Inspector for our Real Estate company.
• As a Property Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the properties thoroughly.
• You will also be responsible for determining the maintenance needs by performing inspections appropriate checks on the property.

Responsibilities

• Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
• Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.
• Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price.
• Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters.
• Promote sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participation in multiple listing services.
• Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, advising them on the suitability and value of the homes they are visiting.
• Performing inspections as per the compliance requirements.
• Inspecting water quality, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and structural integrity.
• Performing detailed indoor and outdoor inspections
• Responding to resident’s complaints and evaluations.
• Finding out safety hazards and structural defects.
• Facilities repairs and improvements.
• Maintaining a report on regular inspections.
• Updating the client and stakeholders with inspection programs.

Preferred Background and Experience

• B.Sc Degree, Master's and other Degree will be an added advantage.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in the real estate industry.
• Excellent sales / marketing and negotiation skills.
• Customer service & Relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Candidate who resides on the Island especially Sangotedo area would be preferred.
