Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Operator at Unicane Industries Limited

Unicane Industries Limited was established and incorporated as a private limited companyin the year 2013 under the company Acts of 1990. Unicane Industries Limited is a member of a long-standing group in Nigeria founded in 1953. The group is a leading ethanol producer in Africa and an industrial group of long experience and very good standing. The group is continuously expanding its activities which now count a wide range of agro-allied activities that include cassava to ethanol processing and refining. At present, its factory is located in Jamata, Kogi State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Operator

Location: Jamata - Lokoja, Kogi

 Responsiblities

• Initiating plant start-up sequence.
• Hourly check of co2 purity with the use of co2 burette
• Monitoring all the various processes of liquid co2 production.
• Charging of ammonia (nh3) into the co2 condenser.
• Refrigerant oil injection.
• Recording plant production parameters
• Maintenance of POV(pneumatic operating valves)
• Maintenance of co2 scrubber pump.
• Observing all safety precaution.
• Ensure the smooth running of plant during production of liquid co2.
• Loading of bulk tankers for customers.
• Supervising cylinder filling station.
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment’s and tanks.
• Pressurization of co2 plant.
• Cleaning of filters, and change of oil for refrigerant compressors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years relevant work experience.
